What it is:

A flavorful toothpaste for children will make your children happy and their teeth healthy. Cleure's Children's Toothpaste is the same mint-free, fluoride-free formula you love for adults with a bit of added flavor for all your children's dental care needs. Safe if accidentally swallowed and with a great taste.

What we leave out:

Most toothpastes contain mint and sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), with a warning on the back for those containing fluoride. Fluoride is used to prevent tooth decay, but it can be dangerous for children if swallowed, which is why there is a WARNING on the back of most brands. As with all Cleure products, our formulas are focused on ingredients with intention, so it's free of dyes, parabens, triclosan, harsh preservatives, gluten, salicylates, formaldehyde, SLS, and other common irritants.

What we put in:

We leave those potentially harmful ingredients out, for a one of a kind toothpaste that will still meet all of your dental care needs without the risk. Instead, we thoughtfully formulate our product with high quality, locally sourced, and naturally derived ingredients including baking soda, xylitol, and dicalcium phosphate, so it has the essentials you need to brush away stains, plaque, and bacteria, prevent cavities, and fight tooth decay and dry mouth.

How it will benefit you:

Formulated with xylitol, baking soda, and Dicalcium phosphate. Xylitol helps prevent cavities by as much as 60%, promotes the flow of saliva, and helps dry mouth, and is a natural sweetener that provides a great taste. Baking soda helps neutralize harmful acids, remove surface stains, and whitens teeth resulting in a brighter smile. Dicalcium phosphate controls tartar, balances calcium and phosphate levels, and helps remineralize areas of teeth that have been attacked by acid. To top it off, our fluoride-free formula is safe for children.

NOTE: If you are on Dr. St. Amand's guaifenesin protocol, you can use any of the Cleure products. He indicates that the amount of salicylates in artificial flavors and colors is negligible and will not block guaifenesin. However, if you have a salicylate sensitivity, intolerance or allergy, we recommend Cleure products that do not contain any flavors or artificial colors. The oral health products that contain flavors include 2 flavors of toothpaste (Cinnamon and Children's Fruit), mouthwash (Cinnamon, Cranberry). All ingredients are listed under each product. ORIGINAL TOOTHPASTE IS FLAVOR-FREE.
