What information do we collect?
Cleure may collect personally identifiable information (“Identifiable Information”) that you provide to us, information from your engagement with our Site, advertising and media, and information from third parties who have gained your consent to share it. The information that we collect via one method (e.g., from Cleure.com) may be combined with that collected via another method (e.g., an offline event). We do this to get a more complete view of preferences for our products and services in order to better service you with enhanced customization and better products. Here are examples of what and how we may collect Identifiable Information:
● When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, social handle or moniker, credit card information or other information. We also may keep track of products or services considered or purchased as well as loyalty activity and redemption. You may, however, visit our Site anonymously.
● We also collect information about gift recipients so that we can fulfill the gift purchase. The information we collect about gift recipients is not used for marketing purposes.
● From time to time, Cleure may contact you via e-mail for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our Site, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Cleure or click on a link therein.
● Activity generated by you during interaction with our Site, including reviews, postings, comments, and shared photographs
Like many websites, we use "cookies" to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our Site. Please refer to the "Do we use 'cookies'?" section below for information about cookies and how we use them.
Cleure may also collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your age or gender.
We do not collect any Identifiable Information unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services available on the Site. These may include: (a) registering for an account on our Site; (b) entering a sweepstake or contest sponsored by us or one of our partners; (c) signing up for special offers from selected third parties; (d) sending us an email message; (e) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services on our Site. To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.
Information about your internet or network activity may be automatically collected by Cleure. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, browsing and search history, access times, and referring website addresses. We use this information, and any resulting analytics, in support of maintaining a high quality of service to you.
Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through Cleure's public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.
How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, purchase products, enter a contest or promotion, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
How do we protect visitor information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.
We strive to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your Identifiable Information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As such, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through the Site cannot be guaranteed.
Do we use "cookies"?
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Google Chrome or Firefox) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won't have access to many features that make your Site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly. However, you can still place orders over the telephone by contacting customer service.
Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term "outside parties" does not include Grace Products Inc. It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our Site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.
We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our Site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.
However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?
Visitors who register or participate in other Site features such as marketing programs and 'members-only' content will be given a choice whether they would like to be on our e-mail list and receive e-mail communications from us.
If you have opted-in to receive our e-mail newsletter, we may send you periodic e-mails. If you would like to modify your e-mail subscription selections, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the "My Account" section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production. You may also opt-out of such communications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send. However, we will still need to send you service-related emails that are necessary for the administration and use of your account. If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these e-mails. To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the "My Account" section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record-keeping.
