Unlike other commercial shampoos, Cleure safe shampoo does not lather much. No need to be alarmed, your hair will still come out clean and shiny! The reason why Cleure shampoo does not lather is because it does not contain a commercial foaming detergent called sodium lauryl sulfate. Certain individuals are sensitive and/or allergic to this harsh ingredient. As a result, we have decided to eliminate this chemical from our products for the greater health of our customers. It's worth sacrificing a little extra lather for healthier products.NOTE: Cleure Volumizing Shampoo is fragrance free.
However, it does have a mild non-fragrance apple scent (salicylate free) void of irritating ingredients.
FRAGRANCE:
Fragrance or perfume may cause sensitivity and allergies because it
contains toxic irritating ingredients that are easily absorbed through
the skin. Side effects may include skin reactions, watery eyes,
headaches, and many others. Currently there are upwards of 800
ingredients used in fragrance and perfumes.
The following ingredients are only a few that have been reported to be harmful:
- Salicylates
- Formaldehyde
- Methylene chloride
- Herbal
extracts and oils: orris root, patchouli oil, galbanum, civet,
bergamot, asafetida. Most herbal extracts and oils have been sprayed
with pesticides. Even organic herbs can have side effects.
